This is the first "fan-art" I do in a very long time. This is part of a little Nobilis Campaign I am putting together and will possibly call "Resurgence". I figured it would be awesome to be able to illustrate the most important characters in the campaign and maybe make some small comics and what not, to make the story memorable as well as practice those skills myself and as such I present you the Big Bad, Iolithae Septimian, her lies generally supplant the truth of the world. So if the PC's want to stand a chance they must not let her speak

Design details: This painting was very fun and very painful, as this originally started as a quick sketch as I was musing ideas to stat up the character and maybe redesign the outfit (which I barely did since after careful study I realized this is a pretty good character outfit.design, only change was the shorts and the leggings, mostly for author appeal, the rest is very balanced and visually pleasing). Anyways by the time I as done musing and brainstorming this thing was more than halfway done. So I decided to go all the way, but then I realized I didnt really planned the process so there were no flats, the sketch was very rough the lighting was in all the wrong places and the colors werent well planned. So I spent more time trying to salvage the picture than actually being productive. So yeah kids, plan your pictures.

In the end I am cautiously pleased with the way she turned out, there are some light and color inconsistencies and some anatomy oops here and there but there is not much I can do about it). She also ended up looking way more Boobacious than originally intended. Althought I dont think there is anything wrong with that.

I will continue to churn out Nobilis artwork until I am satisfied I have all I need for the campaign. I may even do some iconic settings, maybe draw the Locus Court.
